Leyton Orient have added to their squad with the signing of Christian Scales on a two-year-deal.

The 20-year-old defender started his career at Crystal Palace before making a move to Crawley Town in 2015 after failing to break into the Eagles’ first team.

His brief stay with Town yielded just nine appearances in all competitions and he was without a club for two years until joining Whitehawk in February.

He spent the second half of last season with Whitehawk and becomes the O’s sixth signing of the summer and second since Steve Davis took over as head coach on Monday.
