Transfer listed trio Jake Caprice, Christian Scales and Romuald Boco have all left Leyton Orient.

Caprice has earnt a move to League Two side Tranmere Rovers, who gained promotion from the National League last season courtesy of a 2-1 win over Boreham Wood in the Play Off final, while Scales and Boco have both had their contracts terminated by mutual consent.

Orient confirmed that the trio had all been made available for transfer when their retained list was announced last month.

Right-back Caprice moves to Prenton Park on a free transfer and leaves Brisbane Road after just one season in East London, having fallen out of favour under Justin Edinburgh.

The right-back joined the O’s on a free transfer from Woking last summer, signing a two-year-deal at the Breyer Group Stadium.

He started the campaign as Orient’s first choice right-back but following Sam Ling’s arrival from Dagenham and Redbridge in February, the 25-year-old fell out of favour under head coach Edinburgh and was frozen out after the 1-0 home defeat to Torquay United in March.

Caprice failed to make an appearance for the O’s after that game and wasn’t included in any of the club’s match-day squads until the end of the season.

Martin Ling confirmed in an interview with the Guardian Series last month that Caprice would be leaving the club this summer as he was not the type of full-back that Edinburgh wanted in his squad.

The 25-year-old now moves to Prenton Park where he will compete with Manny Monthe to be Tranmere’s first choice right-back. He leaves the Breyer Group Stadium having made 42 appearances in all competitions for the O’s last season.

Joining Caprice in leaving East London are Christian Scales and Romuald Boco, who have both had their contracts terminated by mutual consent.

Scales joined the club last summer on a free transfer but failed to make an appearance for the O’s, spending most of the campaign on loan with Harlow Town in the Bostik Premier League.

Boco, meanwhile, failed to make an appearance under Edinburgh once he was appointed as the O’s head coach back in November.

The Benin winger arrived at Orient on a free transfer last summer following his release from Accrington Stanley and made 20 appearances under former head coach Steve Davis, most of which coming as a substitute, scoring twice.
