ORIENT boss Martin Ling believes he will be better placed if need to make a late swoop into the loan market after the Easter weekend.

The O's could firmly get their promotion ambitions back on track, with games against Carlisle and Cheltenham on Saturday and Monday respectively.

And with the east Londoners sitting level on points with sixth placed Walsall after back-to-back wins over Swindon and Millwall, Ling is hoping he may not even have the need to recruit before the loan window shuts on Thursday.

He said: "I wont be making any movement before Monday that is for sure, although I've got a few people earmarked if we do need to bring someone in.

"I have chosen to wait because if we pick up any injuries, I will then know what area I need to strengthen going into the last six games.

"You know that once the window is shut that you can't move, but at the moment I think we've just about got enough cover especially with four of the players that have been out injured lately close to returns."

Reflecting on Orient's current injury situation, Ling added: "Between Tamika (Mkandawire) and Sam (Oji) there is a chance that at least one of them might be back for these next two games, as both are very close to a return.

"Stephen (Purchase) should have also of recovered from his bout of chickenpox and Charlie Daniels is in contention as well.

"Other than that we've got a few others that have picked up minor knocks on Saturday, but all of those should be fine for this weekend."
