ORIENT reserves crashed to a 4-0 defeat against Watford in the Football Combination Eastern Division at Brisbane Road.
Boss Martin Ling used the game to give a run-out to a number of fringe players and youngsters, including Alton Thelwell, who is working his way back from a knee injury.
Andrew Cave-Brown, Loick Pires and Aiden Palmer also played the 90 minutes, while Simon Dawkins - who has been struggling with an ankle injury - lasted over an hour.
But two goals from Lewis Young, coupled with goals from Liam Henderson and John-Joe O'Toole were enough to hand the Hornet's second string victory.
