THIS is my last column for the season and I have to say what a fantastic campaign it has been.

There have been so many highs, the main ones of course being winning promotion and the FA Cup run we had.

Having been here for eight years, I'm so glad to finally get out of this division and I'm really looking forward to the start of next season.

The celebrations finally came to end after two weeks on Saturday at the Supporters Club's annual awards evening.

These are always nice evenings, but having won promotion it was extra special this year.

I'm so pleased for the fans because they do deserve success after going so long without it and you could really feel the buzz amongst people.

I have to say however that Mr Ibehre confirmed that he is the worst dancer of all time and certainly won't be getting a call from the producers of Strictly Come Dancing.

In fact, while he thinks he looked cool, he made Steelo look like Justin Timberlake. That said, at least they were brave enough to get up and try and cut a few shapes.

It was also great to pick up another couple of awards on the night, this time the Captian's Player of the Season from John Mackie and the Achievement Award, which was in recognition of me breaking the club's penalty record.

So it really has been a fantastic season personally, having already won the club's main Player of the Year award, while also being named in FourFourTwo magazine's top 50 players outside the Premiership and the PFA League Two team of the year.

Like most of the lads I've been relaxing by catching up on a few rounds of golf this week, which included a game with Steelo and Joe Dolan.

We lads have got to be careful what we eat over the next few weeks. The gaffer has already given us our diet sheets and I'm sure, given how tight he is and the fact that he won't want to pay a fine, Jabo will probably come back well under weight.

We have also been told that when we jet out to Vegas with the chairman that we will be getting together every day to do some gym work, so I'm sure we will all come back fit for next season, and I can't wait for life in League One.
