Orient will look to get their first points on the board when they visit London rivals Brentford tomorrow.

The O’s have suffered three successive defeats in their league games this season, seeing them fall to the bottom of the table but with the season still in its infancy, maximum points could see Russell Slade’s side shoot up the table.

Despite losing out on Tuesday to Wycombe, Orient can take heart from the fact that they bagged their first league goal of the campaign through Dean Cox as well as creating a host of other chances.

The last two fixtures have also seen captain Stephen Dawson return to the side, while David Mooney, Marc Laird and Terrell Forbes have all been fit enough for the bench.

Brentford have enjoyed a positive start to the season, taking six points from their opening three games.

The Bees have claimed wins over Yeovil and Exeter, losing once on their travels against Sheffield United.

Jonathan Téhoué will serve the final game of his suspension following his red card at Southend while Jamie Jones and Leon McSweeney remain sidelined.

Scott Cuthbert is still struggling with a hip injury but came through 90 minutes on Tuesday, while summer signing Laird will look for some game time against the club he joined on loan last season.

O’s boss Slade said: “Brentford have got off to a good start. It is going to be tough. It’s a local derby and probably that’s just the recipe for us.”

He added: “I think they are right up there. They have had a great start – the sort of start we were looking for. Hopefully we can dampen their start to the season with three points.”
