There will be no let up for Orient tomorrow as they face another of the promotion chasing sides in Sheffield Wednesday.

The O’s fell to defeat on Tuesday against MK Dons, who currently occupy a play-off position, and the opposition isn’t about to get any easier.

Saturday’s match is followed by a midweek trip to Oldham Athletic before Russell Slade’s side visit Charlton Athletic and then welcome Huddersfield Town.

It is a tough run of fixtures but Slade said he is not concerned by the schedule, adding that he feels they could be good games for his squad.

The manager said: “I don’t see that as daunting, I have to be honest. I think they are good games for us, that is what I mean.

“There is no hiding place in those sorts of games and sometimes, players step up to the plate and we need to do that. It will be a real test now for us with some of these games coming up.”

Wednesday arrive in E10 off the back of claiming a point against strugglers Walsall on Tuesday night.

The Owls had to rely on a 95th minute equaliser, coming courtesy of Gary Madine, to earn a 2-2 draw with the Saddlers.

Dave Jones’ side are third in the table, two points shy of city rivals United in their battle for automatic promotion.
