Leyton Orient could welcome Ryan Dickson back into the squad for tonight’s match with Huddersfield Town.

The Southampton loanee missed Saturday’s trip to Charlton Athletic through suspension following his dismissal at Oldham during the week.

His likely return to the back four is a timely one given that the O’s look set to be without Scott Cuthbert after the former Swindon Town man picked up a hamstring injury at the weekend.

Dean Cox returned on Saturday from illness and will no doubt be keen to get more minutes under his belt but tonight’s match looks to have come too soon for Jamal Campbell-Ryce and Leon McSweeney, with manager Russell Slade confirming on Saturday that the duo are not likely to feature tonight.

Huddersfield currently sit fourth in the League One table but will not have given up on a push for automatic promotion just yet.

Victory for the Terriers tonight would see them close the gap to second-placed Sheffield United to five points but the O’s themselves will be keen to secure a win.

Three points for Slade’s men would see them move eight points away from the relegation zone and potentially as high as 13th in the table.

The last time the two sides met saw Orient claiming a dramatic late draw.

Town led 2-0 with five minutes to play but Jamie McCombe was then dismissed before Kevin Lisbie's first O's goal pulled one back immediately after.

And Ben Chorley earned Orient a share of the points with an injury time leveller, as Slade's men embarked on a ten-game unbeaten run.
