A run of five straight defeats was certainly not what the doctor ordered for Orient but in turning that around, Yeovil Town could prove the ideal opposition.
Victory would not guarantee survival for Russell Slade’s side but it could go a long way towards doing so, and they will certainly not want a repeat of this fixture last season.
The Glovers’ last visit to E10 saw them leave with a 5-1 success. Perhaps this could serve as extra motivation for the O’s tomorrow, especially given that a number of the current squad were involved in that match.
Yeovil come to the East End off the back of back-to-back defeats themselves, most recently suffering a 6-0 home drubbing at the hands of Stevenage.
While Orient’s form does not make for healthy reading, one win in their last six is not something Town would want to shout about either.
Of course they will be looking for a reaction, but so will Slade’s men, despite a brave display in defeat at Sheffield United.
It will be tight and it will be edgy, but I’m backing the O’s to claim three points tomorrow.
