Leyton Orient head coach Ian Hendon has selected Mathieu Baudry as the club's new captain this season.
The French defender was vice-captain last season and his experience at Brisbane Road, having joined three years ago, appears to have been a key factor behind the decision.
Hendon told the club website: "Mathieu is a great character in the dressing room.
"Out on the pitch I want an extension of what I am trying to implement in the dressing room and I feel Mathieu brings that in abundance. Mathieu has been here a number of years and knows what this club is all about."
