Further to Russell Slade admitting recruiting a left back is his priority, Guardian Series Sport understands that Southampton’s Ryan Dickson is a target, although a deal has not yet been completed.
The 25-year-old was recalled by the Championship side from a loan spell with Yeovil Town yesterday and made five appearances for the Glovers last month.
Dickson has also enjoyed spells at Plymouth Argyle, Brentford and Torquay United.
