Leyton Orient will be without Mathieu Baudry tonight in their home match against Coventry City in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The French defender picked up a fifth booking of the season in Saturday's draw at Oldham Athletic which forces him to sit out tonight's second round tie.

But the League One leaders will be able to call on midfielder Romain Vincelot after he was suspended in their last outing.

Shaun Batt is likely to start the game after he scored a hat-trick in the previous round at Gillingham and netted as a substitute at Oldham.

Orient boss Russell Slade said: "I'm going to have to make a change [Baudry suspended] and there could be more but we'll have to see how the group is. He's out serving a ban but it does mean we have him back for the league game against MK Dons so out of that there is a positive.

"It's only a small group anyway so there can't be major structural work so we'll have to see what we've got."

The O's edged past Coventry in an entertaining 3-2 home win in the Capital One Cup back in August and Slade believes the visitors are dangerous opponents.

He said: "I think Coventry are a good side and obviously their position in the league table is very false. Going forward I don't think there are many better teams in the league if I'm honest so it will be a big test.

"It will be a difficult game for sure but we need to just concentrate on ourselves and make sure we keep those high standards. We want to do as well we can in the competition and in every single game. I think that's the way you have to approach it."

Meanwhile, Orient goalkeeper Charlie Grainger has joined Cray Wanderers on loan for a month.
