Relegation-threatened Leyton Orient face a difficult trip to automatic promotion contenders MK Dons tomorrow.

While the O's are just one place above the drop zone, MK Dons are third in the table and only three points off the automatic promotion places.

Orient have picked up just two points from their last three games and are under real pressure after losing at home to Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday.

Although MK Dons will be warm favourites for this game, Orient boss Fabio Liverani believes his side can upset the odds.

When asked about their opponents vying for promotion, he said: "It’s true but we play against everyone and are not scared of anyone despite them pushing for promotion.

"You look at the results and Yeovil beat Sheffield United which is an example we can take points against any other team. We also have a game in hand so I’m optimistic and positive for the rest of the season.”

The O's hope to have midfielder Dean Cox available after missing the last two games with a hamstring injury.

Lloyd James could also come into the side after being left on the bench over the last week.

Speaking after the midweek defeat, Liverani said: “James is a player without any doubt that has got great quality and I considered him a possibility to start from the very beginning of the game.

"I decided in the end not to play him because I had Ryan Hedges and Jobi McAnuff that are very attacking wingers and two strikers so I wanted to give some balance in the middle of the pitch. That’s why I decided to play Josh Wright and Marvin Bartley but James is a player I rate very much.”
