LEYTON ORIENT'S new signing Adrian Petulea believes he can make a big impact at Brisbane Road after making the step up to League One by signing from Lincoln City earlier this week.

The Romanian forward scored 11 goals in League Two last season, and he is convinced that he can do the same at Orient.

“I'm really looking forward to the challenge,” Petulea told the club's official website. “It's a step up for me to be moving to League One but I feel that I'm well equipped to make the jump.

“As a striker it's my job to score goals and I'm confident that my strengths will allow me to do that at League One level and help Leyton Orient to progress.

“The chance to test myself in a higher division was a big reason in my decision to come here and I can't wait to get started now.”
