Orient boss Russell Slade hailed his side’s performance as the O’s enjoyed their second win of the pre-season tour to Finland.
Goals from Stephen Dawson, Jimmy Smith and a George Porter hat-trick saw Orient claim a 5-0 win over local side SJK.
The win followed on the back of Friday’s success over FC Ilves and Slade praised the start his team made to last night’s game.
He said: “It’s not so much about the result really in pre-season but the workout and even though we won convincingly the opposition were ok and in my opinion stronger than the opposition we played a couple of nights ago.
“We took our chances really well early on and played some good football but we’re going to do that – a lot of teams would do if they were 3-0 up in 15 minutes.”
Slade also singled out hat-trick hero Porter for his fine individual display as well as the O’s rapid start to the match.
“We had three chances and we scored all of them. It was really pleasing, especially as it was one of our young players George Porter that got the goals.”
He added: “He played 90 minutes tonight so he’s played from the start and he did really well.”
Orient complete their Nordic trip with a game against top-flight side FF Jaro tonight before returning home to face Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday.
