Russell Slade has made his fifth summer signing with the capture of goalkeeper Ryan Allsop on a six-month deal.
Allsop follows in the footsteps of Gary Sawyer, Anthony Griffith, Michael Symes and Mathieu Baudry in checking in at Brisbane Road ahead of the new season.
Following the release of Tom Lovelock at the end of the last campaign, the O’s were left with just one fit goalkeeper in Jamie Jones after Lee Butcher suffered an anterior cruciate knee ligament injury in February’s home defeat to Scunthorpe United.
The former West Bromwich Albion man spent last season with Millwall after coming through the youth ranks at The Hawthorns.
The 20-year-old will provide competition for Jones and has also represented England Under-17s.
