Leyton Orient have made their fourth signing of the week after Lloyd James penned a two-year deal with the club today.
The 24-year-old has been on trial with the O’s and has impressed manager Russell Slade sufficiently to earn a contract with the Brisbane Road side.
The former Wales Under-21 international began his career with now-Premier League side Southampton but has more recently been with Colchester United in League One.
He also spent time on loan with Crawley Town last season.
James follows swiftly in the footsteps of former Huddersfield Town defender Nathan Clarke who joined the O’s this morning, while Ryan Allsop and Ryan Brunt both linked up with Orient earlier this week.
The capture of James brings the number of new recruits this summer to eight after forward Michael Symes, midfielder Anthony Griffith and defenders Gary Sawyer and Mathieu Baudry also penned deals in E10.
