ORIENT have been linked with a move for Livingston striker Robert Snograss.
The Scottish Under-21 international, who is a former team-mate of ex-O's midfielder Craig Easton is thought to be manager Martin Ling's main target after he lost out on Northampton's Adebayo Akinfenwa at the start of the month.
But the east Londoners face stiff competition, as both Hartlepool United and Crewe are reported to be interested, as well as two unamed German sides.
But for now it seems the player is more interested in remaining in Britain, rather than heading abroad.
''I've been down south over the past couple of weeks visiting the clubs and their stadiums and I feel the time is right for a fresh challenge.'' he told the Northern Echo.
The 20-year-old frontman is expected to make a decision in the next 24 hours, and Ling will clearly hope the success enjoyed by Easton at Brisbane Road following his switch from the Livi Lions in 2004 will persuade Snograss to head to the capital.
