ORIENT have made Kevin Dearden their full-time goalkeeping coach and chief scout.
The former Spurs and Brentford stopper has been coaching the club's keepers on a part-time basis since November 2007, but manager Martin Ling is happy to hand him a full-time position.
He said: "It's pleasing to get Kevin on the board.
"It's a massive help to the keepers knowing he'll be around all the time and he will oversee our scouting.
"It's the first time in five years as manager that we've been able to have these roles covered full-time and it's a step forward for us."
