HEAD-TO-HEAD: Orient 28 wins, Brighton 34 wins and 18 draws
FORM: Following Saturday's 1-1 draw at Cheltenham in the FA Cup the Seagulls stretched their recent unbeaten run to four. Prior to that they drew 1-1 against Walsall and beat Luton and Hartlepool 3-1 and 2-1 respectively.
DANGER MAN: Former O's loanee and midfielder Dean Hammond (below) has been weighing in with the goals this season. Hammond has risen through the ranks at Brighton and is in top form having rattled in four goals during the current campaign.
FUN FACT: A row over the boundaries of a planned car park for Brighton's new ground at Falmer had delayed work at the site. This was only the latest twist in a saga which embroiled ex-deputy PM John Prescott (above) and sparked a judicial review. Recently though permission has been granted for the club to progress work and the stadium has been scheduled to open midway through the 2009-10 season, or the beginning of the 2010-11 campaign.
