It’s rubbish we have given up playing for the gaffer
THE gaffer had every right to come in and be annoyed with us after the defeat at Oldham on Saturday because it was another poor performance.
We've not been good enough for a long while now, because as the gaffer has said, since Christmas it has been relegation form and nobody wants to be on the end of five straight defeats.
All season we have been able to get ourselves out of trouble when we've had a defeat. And it is such a shame that when we needed to keep that going at the most important stage of the season we haven't been able to do it.
We have just got ourselves in a rut now and the confidence in the camp is low.
But suggestions we've just given up on the season and aren't playing for the manager are rubbish.
As I said last week there are a lot of us still playing for contracts at the club.
And the other lads who already have deals also know if they don't perform then they could find themselves out of the team next season as well.
I'm hopeful I can get something sorted with the club, because it has been good being back in London and I feel really settled at Leyton Orient.
But at the moment, like everyone else, I will be focused on trying to put an end to this poor run against Doncaster on Saturday.
They, of course, have got everything to play for with an automatic promotion spot still up for grabs.
But maybe that might just help us lift our game and hopefully put on a decent performance for the fans at home on Saturday.
