East London Runners' David Baldwin recorded a personal best at the City of Norwich Half Marathon on Sunday.

Baldwin crossed the line in an impressive time of 1.35.55.

There was also a personal best for the club's Grant Conway who finished the Essex 10k Championships, held in Chelmsford, in 43.34.

Sarah Burns also beat her best time at the Fergus Athletics Club 5k Road Race.

Burns was the second fastest Over-35 with a time of 21.38 at the race at Lissycasey in Ireland.

Closer to home Patrick Brown was the first man home at the Walthamstow 5k parkrun on Saturday. He stopped the clock on 18.40.

Alex Haward wasn't far behind with a time of 20.12 before Richard Guest came fourth with 21.26 and Jamie Xavier ended up 14th in 23.35.

At the Wanstead Flats 5k parkrun, Euan Brown won the race in a rapid time of 16.44 and there were decent times for Derek Wright (21.36) in ninth and Claire Emery (23.28) in 20th.

There were two personal bests from the four Runners competing at the Hackney Marshes 5k parkrun.

Lee Wollaston (19.36) and Claire Parker (20.25) both recorded best times to finish 11th and 18th respectively.

Robert Bruni crossed the line in 20.28 for 19th place while Laura Jenkin finished in 22.08 to come 26th.
