Buckhurst Hill scored four goals but still crashed out of the cup, losing 5-4 to Raleigh Town.

Bucks’ goals came through Chris Stowe’s double, Jon Kemp and an own goal but Raleigh still progressed as Harly Keen fired home twice, with Lew Manor, Peter Beaumont and Adam Harris the others on target.

Newbury Forest scored three second-half goals to beat Colne Engaine 3-1, with Bardley Gates, Toch Singh and Jason Reynolds-Blanche contributing to the turn-around.

Kelvedon Hatch edged to a 3-2 victory over Debden Sports thanks to two goals from Bill Munroe and another from Lee Newton. Chris Howard scored both goals for Debden.

There may be a debate on who keeps the match ball at Frenford Senior after Jon Wightman and Damon O’Neil both netted hat-tricks to help dispatch Earls Colne with a 6-0 drubbing.

Toby were also on form as they thrashed Galleywood 4-0.

Ryan Morgan and Patrick Middleburg scored two apiece and Toby will now meet Harold Wood Athletic in the next round.

Wood hammered Takeley Reserves 4-1 as Joe Huggett did the most damage with a hat-trick while Billy Fairbanks chipped in with the other goal. Manford Way also secured their place in the next round as they beat Arlesford Colne Rangers 2-1.

Teddy Watson and Stuart Houghton struck the Rangers goals.

Shenfield AFC crashed out of the competition after a 4-2 home loss to May & Baker E.C.

The hosts notched through Billy Texeria and Josh Summer but Ryan Parker, Garry Mackin, Kevin Baker and Joe Tizard made sure it was the visitors who went through.

Southminster St Leonards cruised into the next round with a 4-1 win over White Notley.

Lee Perry scored a brace and there were also goals for Tom Hine and Greig Taylor but the win was soured by an injury to Lloyd Wilson, who broke his leg during the match.

Rochford Town won a penalty shoot-out 4-3 against Leigh Ramblers after the game finished 1-1.

Jay Hockey struck for Ramblers while Shaun Illett was on target for Rochford.

Old Chelmsfordians cast aside their poor league form and went on to win their all-Division One encounter with Canning Town 3-1.

James Brady, Gareth Burton and a Ryan Schofield penalty saw them into the next round.

Basildon Town lost 4-2 to Alemite Athletic.

Basildon’s goals came through Reece Conway and an own goal.

Premier Division Wadham Lodge were held to a 1-1 draw against Bishop’s Stortford Swifts.

Harold Hill finally earned their first point of the season after they drew 3-3 at Hannakins Farm.

Roddy Lemba bagged a brace while Kurtis Spencer fired home the other goal.

Luke Eatwell and Brett Munyard scored for Hannkins Farm and they grabbed a late equaliser from a Ben Swift free-kick.

Division One

The top two in the division both suffered surprise defeats.

Old Barkabbeyans lost 4-2 to Old Southendian as David Tubbs claimed a hat-trick and Thomas Judge added another.

Second-placed Springfield meanwhile lost 2-1 to Benfleet in an ill-tempered match that saw three red cards.

Tom Trowler and Robbie Topley scored for Benfleet, with Springfield’s reply coming via a Ryan Batchford penalty.

Division Two

Runwell Hospital moved to the top of the table after they gained a 2-1 win at Upminster.

Ongar Town climbed to second after Ben Polley, Niki Love and Adam Collier all scored in a 3-2 home win over Roydon. Steve Banks and Martin O’Rouke were on target for Roydon.

Lakeside beat Ryan 3-2 thanks to a Bill Smith double and one more from Lee Atkinson.

Ryan’s replies came via Bradley O’Donovan and Alex Nelson.

Division Three

Leaders Snaresbrook posted another win as they beat Catholic United 4-2.

Danile Tesfay netted twice and was joined on the Snaresbrook scoresheet by Josh Woodcock and Jay Sendall.

They opened up a seven-point gap on second-placed Stambridge United who stuttered again, losing 2-0 at home to Ramsden Scotia.

Dave Hollis and Nicky Arnold inflicted the damage for Ramsden.

Epping thumped Leytonstone United 6-0 as Jake Clarke smashed home a hat-trick and Luke Millard, Josh Gibson and Simon Crump were also on target.

LOASS shared the spoils with Sungate after a 3-3 draw.

Janjo Walsh, Victor Nkolo and Aaron Sommers hit the net for LOASS while Sungate’s goals came via Tyrone Scarlett, Spencer Pitfield and Matthew Whiting.
