Essex Premier Cup
Wadham Lodge progressed to the second of the Essex Premier Cup after beating Hannakins Farm 3-1.
Visiting Wadham Lodge took the lead before Chris Howard levelled for Hannakins Farm. However two second-half strikes took the tie away from the hosts and secured Wadham Lodge’s progress.
Ryan exit the competition at the first-round stage after a 6-1 thrashing at the hands of West Bergholt. Bradley Harris scored Ryan’s consolation after 29 minute, but that was as good as it got for the visitors.
London Junior Cup
LOASS were comfortable winners in the London Junior Cup first round, beating South London Football Network 5-0.
Senior Division Cup
Buckhurst Hill were knocked out of the Senior Division Cup second round by Newham United, who emerged 3-1 winners.
Sam Cooper tucked home a penalty for Buckhurst, but Newham’s progress was never in doubt.
Snaresbrook were 3-1 winners over East Londoners. Daniel Tesfay, Junior Dentele and Matt Shrubsole all scored for Snaresbrook, whilst Daniel Cox hit back for East Londoners.
Newbury Forest were comfortable winners at Rochford Town, winning 4-1 thanks. Nathan Dewberry got Rochford’s strike.
Division One
The bottom two went head-to-head, with Ongar Town losing 3-2 to Herongate at home. Luke Osborne, Anton Dwyer and Adam Dobson got the goals for Herongate.
Division Two
Debden Sports remain mired in the relegation zone following a 3-0 home loss to Basildon Town. Tommy Wright, Chris Charlery and Mark Saunders scored the Basildon goals.
Division Three
Epping drew 1-1 at Broomfield; Jake Clarke netting for the visitors and Dean Palmer scoring for the home side.
