Woodford Wells Tennis Club member Anthony Wright won the singles and doubles titles at their 33rd annual open tournament.
Wright, who was competing in the Under-10 boys’ category, came out on top against 31 other competitors to win the singles title against number two seed Tyler Yanagida.
He then teamed up with fellow club member, Tibet Hanedan, to win the Under-10 doubles tournament.
The competition, which took place during the half-term week, saw more than 400 competitors from all over east London and Essex enter as Woodford Wells celebrates its 150th anniversary.
Joshua Oakley beat Toby Terrell to emerge triumphant in the Under-9 boys’ event, whilst Marcus Stapleton won against Clive Schaller in the men’s Over-55 competition.
