Buckhurst Hill belied their disappointing league form to beat Great Wakering Rovers 4-3 in extra time.

Liam Briggs, Daniel Reeve, Keth Orth and Alfie Ripsher all scored for Buckhurst, who advance into round three.

Premier Division Wadham Lodge sneaked past Bishop’s Stortford Swifts 1-0 to move into fourth place.

Whilst Frenford Senior move up to third after a 4-2 defeat of Newbury Forest.

Jake Marsh hit two and there were further strikes from Damon O’Neill and Damien Yoxall. Newbury Forest scored via Lee Meadows and Andrew Lane, with defeat leaving them in the relegation zone.

Division One

Ongar Town lost out by the odd goal in five against Leigh Ramblers.

The Ongar goals came via Ben Polley and an own goal, but Justin Hazell, Seb Allen and Tom Fletcher all scored to condemn Ongar to defeat.

Division Two

Snaresbrook went top of the table with a 2-0 win over Debden Sports, leaving Debden firmly rooted in the relegation zone.

Matthew Shrubsole was the man in form for Snaresbrook, scoring a brace.

Roydon were brushed aside 4-0 by Basildon Town.

Chris Charlery (2), Marcus Bowers and Reece Conway were all on target for Roydon.

LOASS surrendered a 1-0 lead to go down 2-1 against Runwell Hospital.

Billy Smith and Aaron Rix scored for Runwell to complete the comeback.

Ryan came unstuck at home to Rochford Town, going down 4-2 thanks to strikes from Lee Anderson, Daniel Barrington, Ashley Fell and Chris Hancock.

Division Three

Epping were roundly beaten by Forest Glade as they lost 4-1.
