Buckhurst Hill Lacrosse Club played out an entertaining 7-7 draw against Epsom in East Division One on Saturday.
Hill started the contest poorly and Epsom had raced into a three-goal lead before Jonny McGee pulled a goal back for the visitors.
Jack Wakefield then added a second for Buckhurst and Albert Whitehead struck. However, Epsom led 4-3 at half time.
The third period saw Hill improve defensively and Dave Williams levelled the score late on.
The final quarter was scrappy but Hill went in front as Wakefield and then McGee struck. Epsom fought back to level the match at 7-7 before McGee scored late on.
But the goal was ruled out and the contest ended as a draw.
