West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho has been forced to pull out of Senegal's squad for the African Cup of Nations due to a back injury.
Sakho, who has scored eight goals in 11 Premier League starts following his summer switch from Metz, will be sidelined for 'a few weeks' due to a back injury.
Hammers boss Sam Allardyce told Sky Sports News: "Sakho’s got a damaged back, he’s got a pinched spine. Senegal have sent a medical team over and looked at the MRI scans with us and he will be out for a few weeks, I think."
The 25-year-old has been replaced in Senegal's squad by FC Sion striker Moussa Konate.
