Waltham Forest beat Ilford 3-0 on Saturday despite playing 90 minutes with a defender in goal.
With William Hunt and Gozutok Hussein injured and unavailable respectively, it fell to centre-back Kubilay Akbayrak to don the gloves for the Stags.
In the event it made little difference as the defender kept a clean sheet in a comfortable win. Goals from Luke Ifil, Solomon Ofori and Hassana Traore did the damage.
Forest travel to Enfield 1893 on Saturday in the Essex Senior League.
In the Isthmian Division One North, Redbridge saw their clash with Aveley postponed. The Motormen will host Chatham Town on Saturday.
