Leyton Orient Advanced Soccer Schools (LOASS) Under-15 girls maintained their 100 per cent league record and got 2015 off to a flying start, winning 10-0 at Hampstead Diamonds.

Playing in strong wind, LOASS took control from the outset but struggled to break down the Hampstead backline until Shawna Harvey fired home from 15 yards at the second attempt.

Harvey soon grabbed a second to double the visitors’ lead before half time.

LOASS ran riot after the break, scoring no fewer than eight times to underline their superiority.

Lauren George and Rheanna Patterson each grabbed braces to make it 6-0, before Harvey completed her hat-trick.

Seren Ahmet soon got in on the act from close range and an own goal further extended LOASS’ advantage before Aldeen scored the pick of the bunch to round off the scoring for her side.

Collecting the ball 35 yards from goal, Aldeen exchanged passes with midfield partner Fayth James before bending home the tenth from just inside the penalty area.

The Under-15 girls Reds came from 3-1 down to draw with West Ham United.

The Hammers, who had beaten LOASS 8-1 earlier in the season, took an early lead, striking the opening blow after just three minutes.

However LOASS, to their credit, rallied and drew level soon after when Aaliyah Boyea struck from 20 yards.

Playing with increased confidence, LOASS suffered a blow when the Hammers re-took the lead, capitalising on their opponents’ failure to clear the ball.

And just before half time, West Ham snatched a third to seemingly put the game beyond LOASS.

However LOASS refused to give up and found a route back into the game with ten minutes remaining when Shania Leacock released Boyea to slot home her second.

LOASS continued to press West Ham and were rewarded when Leacock released Boyea to tuck away a carbon copy of her first goal and secure a share of the spoils.

Meanwhile the Under-12s beat league-leaders Upminster Park Rovers 4-0.

Goals from Brogan Jeffers Cass (2), Tegan Attree and Jessica Benning sealed a comfortable margin of victory.
