Crostyx built on their 6-0 win over Colchester by edging past Pelicans 3-1 at the Olympic Park on Saturday.
Despite most other East League games being cancelled, the contest passed a late pitch inspection, though conditions were still treacherous.
Crostyx took the lead with Tim Watson reacting quickest from a rebound and Jake Burke doubled their advantage from a well worked move.
The Pelicans, who thumped Crostyx 6-3 in the reverse fixture, reduced the arrears just before half time with a scrappy goal.
In the second half both teams, especially the away side, were guilty of missing gilt-edged chances.
The Pelicans surged forward sensing an equaliser and won a succession of short corners but they failed to convert any of them.
Soon after James Lawes put the game to bed for the Purple Train from a short corner.
