Waltham Forest supporter Charlie Ward is appealing for help from fellow fans and former players as he compiles a book documenting his 50 years supporting the club.
The Stags, currently plying their trade in the Essex Senior League following relegation from the Isthmian Division One North last season, have previously operated under the name of Leyton, Leyton-Wingate and Leyton Pennant & Waltham Forest.
Ward is asking for former players, supporters and ex-committee members who might be able to supply articles from the local press, photos or their own memories of the club.
