Defending champion Ronnie O'Sullivan has crashed out of the Welsh Open after losing 4-3 to Matthew Stevens in the third round in Cardiff.
'The Rocket', who has a property in Chigwell, raced into a 2-0 lead against the Welshman at the Motorpoint Arena but Stevens then fought back in the third frame before drawing level.
And despite O'Sullivan edging back in front, Matthews sealed his place in round four by winning the next two frames.
