Epping Forest District Swimming Club enjoyed a bumper turnout at the final block of the Essex County Championships with Amelia Peddle being particularly impressive.

The 15-year-old swam impressively to come second in the 50m freestyle with a time of 27.61 and also took home three bronze medals in the 50m backstroke, 100m and 200m individual medley.

Georgie Park recorded a personal best time of 1.22.88 in the 100m medley to finish fifth as well as shaving five seconds off her qualifying time to take fifth in the in the 200m breaststroke.

She then went on to take fourth in the 50m breaststroke with a time of 37.10 and was fifth overall in the 10/11 age group.

Taisa Tiron and Isabelle Creasy reduced their qualifying times in the 100m medley by nine and ten seconds respectively.

Isabelle also took a mammoth 14 seconds off of her qualifying time in the 200m breaststroke.

Sienna Treglohan was also in great form as she came eighth in the 50m backstroke and lowered her qualifying time by six seconds to 2.44.55.

In the 12-year-old age group Roisin Clifford came fifth in the 50m backstroke as well as claiming sixth place in the 50m butterfly with a time of 35.25.

Finlay Sergent registered a personal best time of 2.08.01 in the 15-year-olds 200m freestyle to claim sixth place.

Rufus Jones swam well to earn a five second personal best of 3.17.62 while Dora Zhou came sixth in the 50m backstroke.

The 15+ medley relay team of Dora Zhou, Amelia Peddle, Lisa Waite and Hannah Gillespie came eighth place.
