May & Baker EC 'A' continued their title charge with a resounding 4-0 win over Chingford Harriers.

Their lead over Chingford Athletic in second is 16 points but Athletic do have the small matter of six games in hand on May & Baker.

And braces from Darren Seymour and Shane Messenger sealed the win for May & Baker with room to spare.

In second, Chingford Athletic ensured May & Baker were unable to boost their advantage any further, beating Newham Reserves 4-2.

Anton Trice bagged a brace, with James Clarke and Matt Thompson also getting in on the act.

Fifth-placed AAH Romford failed to close the gap on the top four after only drawing 1-1 with Eastside Rangers (London Community).

Steven Florence scored Romford's goal to secure a share of the spoils.

Melbourne Sports leapfrogged Chingford Town by winning 4-0 to move up to sixth position.

Greg Justham, Antony Hawe, Ryan Lincoln and John Shubert were all on target for Melbourne.

Second-placed Vittoriosa Falcons beat Glendale 2-0 but remain well behind league-leaders Blue Marlin.

Victory was secured thanks to strikes from Nathan Scarborough and Graham Reeves but Falcons remain 13 points behind Blue Marlin.

Northend are on the rise after they picked up a handy 3-1 win over St Johns Deaf.

The victory means Northend trail Vittoriosa Falcons by just five points with four games in hand.

Ryan Leddra, Reece Simpson and Shomari Barnwell all struck to make the points safe.

Division Two

Top-of-the-table Grove United made a sizeable statement about their title intentions by thrashing Dagenham United 7-0.

John Hughes hit a hat-trick with Rob Arundall and Harry Chalk both scoring twice in a crushing victory, United are a point clear of West Essex Reserves in second having played one game less.

Former leaders Leyton Green were 2-1 winners at West Essex Reserves, with both sides very much in the title race.

Otis Gatehouse got West Essex's consolation.

Custom House made light work of demolishing Singh Sabha Barking, running out 5-0 winners.
