Senior Division Cup Quarter-Final
Wadham Lodge are now 90 minutes away from a final after they beat Catholic United 3-1 to seal their semi-final berth.
United, fresh from reaching the Essex Premier Cup final last weekend, took the lead. However, it was Lodge who advanced in extra-time.
Reece Cossan (2) and Bobby Clarke were the Wadham Lodge scorers.
Premier Division
Newbury Forest hauled themselves out of the relegation zone by beating fellow relegation candidates Manford Way 3-0.
The game was goalless at half-time but Bradley Gates scored twice in the second half, with Danny Kenny grabbing the other goal. The win moves Newbury Forest up to 11th.
Ricky Reid, Neil Pedley and Adam Stancliffe all scored for Buckhurst Hill but their game with Harold Wood Athletic ended in a 3-3 draw.
Buckhurst Hill remain ninth after picking up a point.
Division Two
Snaresbrook chipped into Toby’s lead at the summit after a Jamie Doyle goal was enough to earn them a 1-0 win at Runwell Hospital.
They remain three points behind the leaders but do have three games in hand.
LOASS beat Rochford Town 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller to move up to fourth place.
Goals from Abiola Balogun (2), Daniel Bondzie and Anil Bugday did the damage from the Leytonstone side, who are 15 points behind leaders Toby.
Debden Sports won their relegation six pointer with Roydon 3-2, moving them out of the relegation zone.
A priceless win moves Debden up to tenth and away from danger - for now. Ricky Andrews scored twice for Debden, who also saw Ross McNally hit the net.
Roydon, who struck via Martin O’Rourke and Sami Mbarki, drop back into the relegation zone.
