WOODFORD Green Athletic Club and Essex Ladies' Jo Duncan picked up a gold medal at the UK Inddor Championships in Sheffield with a shot of 16.45m.
Silver medals were won by Jeanette Kwakye over 60m in 7.26 secs and by Sarah Claxton who produced a season's best of 8.05 secs in the 60m hurdles.
Joice Maduaka was fifth in the 60m sprint after a poor start, while Julie Pratt was fifth in hurdles.
Claxton was fourth in the long jump with a leap of 6.02m.
Emeka Udechuku took bronze in the men's shot with a distance of 17.64m, while Christian North's 5.15m was enough for fourth in the pole vault.
Tosin Oke was fifth in the men's triple jump with Stephanie Aneto fifth in the women's event.
Jessica Sparke was fifth over 3,000m in 9mins 28.4 secs and again fifth over 1,500m the following day in 4mins 23.28secs.
Veteran Bernadine Pritchett was 11th with 4mins 45.76secs, while over 800m Chris Reynolds seventh in 1min 50.30 secs.
The European Indoor Championships are to be held in Birmingham next month.
