Newbury Forest were on the wrong end of a seven-goal thriller at White Ensign, going down 4-3.
Lee Delf, Mitchell Sturt-Evans, Jamie Webster and Archie Matthews were the White Ensign scorers as they ended the game with ten men.
Defeat leaves Newbury Forest second bottom and winless after five games.
Division One
Ongar Town picked up their first win of the season by beating Toby 2-0 at home.
Ben Absalon and Ross Carpenter were on target for fifth-placed Toby.
Snaresbrook lead the league standings, though, after picking up a 4-2 victory at Shenfield AFC.
The goals all came from different sources as Daniel Tesfay, Josh Woodcock, Nick Jackson and Jay Sendal all took it in turns to hit the back of the net for Snaresbrook.
Luke Williamson and Billy Texeria grabbed the Shenfield replies.
Division Two
Bottom-of-the-pile Roydon were beaten 5-2 at home by Great Baddow.
Goals from Nigel Jordan and Martin O'Rourke were not enough for the hosts. Ben Cross, Luke Perry, Dan Gage, Matt Crick and Dane Nelson struck for the visitors.
Ryan lost 3-2 at home to Rochford Town.
Division Three
Epping moved up to fourth with a 1-0 win at Harold Wood Athletic Reserves, Grant Osborn on target.
