Eton Manor's steep learning curve continued on Saturday as they were thumped 82-14 at Tonbridge Juddian in National League 3.

After a comprehensive 65-7 defeat at home to Hertford on the opening day of the season, Jamie Connors' men were roundly beaten once more by the Kent side.

Manor dominated possession in the first ten minutes but their good work was soon undone as the TJs ran in tries from all over to underline to step up in class to National League level.

Next up is a visit from Guernsey on Saturday.

In London 1 North, Chingford made it two wins from two by edging out Amersham & Chiltern 28-27.

Victory leaves Chingford in third as one of three sides to have two wins from two at this early stage.

Luke Campbell, Matt Keville, David Ogufere and Dave Duffus all went over to give Chingford a 28-7 half-time lead but it was a completely different story in the second half as Amersham & Chilton hit back with 20 unanswered points.

Chingford go to Ruislip on Saturday.

Woodford were 26-12 winners at home to local rivals Wanstead in a friendly clash. The league campaign begins for both on Saturday.
