FC Leytonstone picked up their second win from as many games in the London City Airport League, hitting FC Hamlets for six in a 6-0 rout.

It was a brutal demolition by Leytonstone with Micah Stennett, Zulqi Khan and Bradley Williams adding to Sergio Garcia's hat-trick.

Stennett put the Lemons in front after Charles Gymafi's close-range shot ricocheted off the Hamlets keeper for Stennett to finish.

Skipper Khan continued his excellent form with a solo run from the middle of the park jinking past at least four Hamlets players and firing into the back of the net just inside the 18 yard box.

Garcia, prior to Saturday, had endured slow start to the campaign. He was goalless, and it looked as if it was getting on his nerves.

Having seemed out of sorts during a run without scoring that extended to four appearances, he ended the wait with magnificent hat-trick.

Leytonstone kept to their task but it was clear that the game was over and the final nail in the coffin came with Williams' 71st-minute goal.

Meanwhile, the Under-14s earned local bragging rights with a 7-4 win over Hackney marshes,

Mohammed Essa ran in four goals whilst captain and makeshift keeper Fayaz Master make a penalty save to help preserve the points.
