Like London buses, Redbridge, who had lost 13 games on the bounce prior to Saturday, clinched their second win in as many Isthmian Division One North fixtures on Tuesday by beating Maldon & Tiptree 3-2.
The Motormen took the lead after 34 minutes through Joe Gent but two goals in five minutes from the Jammers – scored by Femi Akinwande and Darren Mills – saw the visitors in front by the 50th minute.
But Dave Ross and Ricky Eaton’s men went one better and Jay Knight scored twice in the space of three minutes to turn the game on its head and move Redbridge out of the relegation zone.
