The second round of the Essex Premier Cup took centre stage in the Essex Olympian League on Saturday and Buckhurst Hill were the biggest winners of the area's clubs, hammering Alemite Athletic 10-0.

Leytonstone United were edged out by the odd goal in five against Harold Wood Athletic; Harry Spackman and James Medlock scoring for United.

A 30-yard screamer from Leo Connelly was the highlight of Newbury Forest’s 4-1 reverse against Galleywood, but Snaresbrook fared better after they beat league rivals Runwell Hospital 4-2 on penalties. Daniel Tesfay and Daniel Walsh had earlier scored as the two sides were locked together at 2-2.

Another side to see their cup hopes end were Ryan following a 3-2 loss at the hands of May & Baker E.C.

Debden Sports suffered a disappointing day in Division Three as they were on the receiving end of a 6-0 drubbing against Harold Wood Athletic Reserves.

A Jake Clarke brace was only good enough for a point as Epping were held 2-2 by Frenford Senior Reserves.
