Leaders Poplar Boys’ advantage has been reduced to 11 points after Warren United beat FC Continental 3-1 on Sunday.
The table-toppers were without a game at the weekend and have played two matches more than their second-placed rivals.
A point and a place further back are Ainslie Wood, who hit six for no reply past Aldborough Hatch.
Division One
It is now six wins out of six for pace-setters Leyton Green after they claimed a 3-1 home success over Warren United Reserves.
M&B Club were also defending a perfect league record going into the weekend, but they suffered a heavy 5-1 setback at Barking.
Archers Athletic are three points further back in third – and with a game in hand on the top two – after they emphatically dispatched of Lonsdale 8-0.
Division Two
Slaters Arms continue to lead the way in the third tier after they won by the odd goal in five at Romford Galaxy.
The outcome was equally as tight as second-placed Dagenham United made home advantage count in their 3-2 victory over FC United of Hornchurch.
A mid-table tussle saw FC Mexico also win at home, beating Park Tavern 2-0.
Division Three
There were three games in this division but they saw 27 goals scored with Wanstead United leading the way on a fine day for the away clubs.
The table-toppers travelled to basement side Central Colts and returned home with an 11-0 victory.
The other two matches saw the visitors both run up six-goal margins of success; Goresbrook winning 8-2 at Spring Farm while E4 Rangers defeated Alliance United 6-0.
Essex Sunday Premier Cup
EMWA are through to round three after winning 2-1 at Collier Row.
Shelby will be joining them after they were awarded a walkover against Pegasus Coryton.
West Essex Sunday Charity Cup
St Augustines needed penalties to advance into round two, defeating Flanders 5-3 on spot-kicks after the two sides could not be separated having shared six goals in normal and extra-time.
Division Three Cup
London Fire Brigade proved far too hot to handle for Napier in their first round tie as the visitors ran out emphatic 9-1 victors.
The tie between Westferry Elite and Heathside was much closer, with hosts Elite prevailing by the odd goal in three.
