FC Leytonstone edged to a dramatic 5-3 win at Peacock Gym in their thrilling London City Airport Premier Division Cup quarter-final on Sunday.

Zulqi Khan's hat-trick inspired Leytonstone to a memorable win against Peacock Gym.

The Lemons' captain demonstrated his importance to the team by taking his tally to an outstanding ten goals in five games.

Peacock's early goal looked to put them in control after going ahead in the 14th minute of the cup tie.

But Leytonstone produced a rousing response with Ahmed Pele equalising from a Sergio Garcia assist.

He was outstanding and stepped up to the challenge of being promoted into the first team starting line up.

Teenager Uzair Qasmi made his debut for the senior team and the 19-year-old made an instant impact after firing an emphatic shot past the Peacock keeper.

This win takes Leytonstone into the semi-finals of the City Airport Premier Division Cup and they look forward to hosting Yolowa FC onSunday in the London Challenge Cup.
