Essex Sunday Corinthian Football League

Division One

Flanders moved into third place with a thumping 6-2 win at home to Valentines United.

However, Flanders are ten points behind Leyton Green at the summit.

Matt Hunt hit a hat-trick whilst Matt Hector and Adam Hunt were also on target for the hosts.

Gavin Wynter and Jonathan Day replied for beleaguered United.

The only other fixture in the second tier saw fifth-placed Barking draw 2-2 at home to fourth-placed Archers Athletic.

Division Two

In the only fixture to go ahead, struggling Park Tavern pulled off a shock as they crushed second-placed FC Mexico 6-2.

Division Three

Third-placed Westferry Elite closed the gap on league-leaders E4 Rangers with a 2-1 win at Heathside.

The win leaves Rangers six points behind the table toppers with a game in hand.
