Jolof Sports Club took advantage of being one of only two teams in action to go top with a 4-2 win over Rainham Working Men's Club.
Victory means Jolof are now three points ahead of second-placed Chingford Athletic who have three games in hand.
Division One
Grove United moved top of the second tier with a 3-1 win over Kitgum Boys.
Strikes from Harry Chalk, John Hughes and Ben Lowes sealed the win.
Division Two
Singha Sabha Barking are the new leaders following a 5-0 trouncing of Newham Royals.
Leyton Green, meanwhile, overcame Custom House 2-0.
