East London Runners’ Thomas Grimes won the Sunday cross-country league by coming second in the final event in Royston on Sunday.
Grimes finished second overall as one of five East London Runners involved, clinching the championship in the process.
Russell Price finished 24th, Fiona Critchley 45th, Maud Hodson 64th and Doug Mansell in 162nd.
Antonio Martin Romero recorded a personal best at the Headcorn Half Marathon, coming sixth out of 422 finishers in 1.18.18.
East London Runners had three members in the top 10 at the Wanstead Park Run.
Patrick Brown was third (18.14) while Dan Senior finished sixth in 19.16. In seventh was Scott McMillan who completed the course in 19.45 Ashley Faria was 10th at the Valentines Park Run, recording a course personal best of 20.58.
