Buckhurst Hill Lacrosse Club’s winning run stretched to four games with a deserved 10-4 victory over Maidstone on Saturday at Roding Lane.
Hitman Seamus Monaghan continued his hot streak with four goals, supported by a hat-trick from Elliot Appleyard and strikes by Rich Mason, Nick Milburn, and Peter Bowyer.
Face-off specialist Luke Mullery dominated possession from restarts versus Maidstone’s star player, allowing Bucks’ attack to apply sustained pressure on the opposing defence.
Superior home team fitness and regular scores throughout the game sapped the visitors’ morale in the driving rain.
Buckhurst Hill hope to continue their winning run on Saturday (2pm face-off) when they welcome league leaders Spencer to Roding Lane.
