Old Loughtonians paid fitting tribute to the memory of former player Tom Wilson on Saturday as they beat another of his former clubs, Havering, 5-0.
There was a minute’s silence prior to the game to remember Wilson, 22, who died in September following a freak accident in training. Goals from Aleix Roset, Shane Watson, Ed Mortimer, Luke Camilleri and Oliver Didham sealed the win.
Loughts ladies beat Norwich Dragons 2-0 with goals from Alice Melvin and Jenny Farrow.
Wapping were 2-1 victors over Ipswich with efforts from Dom Graham and Olly Cooper wrapping up the points.
The ladies were comprehensive 4-1 winners against Bishop’s Stortford.
Louise Song (2), Helen Rees and Hannah Gage all scored for Wapp.
Crostyx piled on the misery for already-relegated Southend by sealing a 7-4 win.
The ladies secured promotion to the Essex Premier with a hard-fought 2-1 win at St Albans.
