Waltham Forest picked up a dramatic late 2-1 win at home to Takeley in the Essex Senior League on Saturday which could prove key in their battle to stay up.
The win leaves Turgut Esendagli's men four points above bottom side Newham who they face on Tuesday at Tilbury's Chadfields home.
Jose Agua gave the Stags an 18th-minute lead after latching onto Miguel Lopes de Matos' long ball forward.
Takeley equalised with three minutes remaining by finishing off a swift counter-attack.
But Forest won in almost immediately after when captain Kubilay Akbayrak converted a penalty for a foul of Prince Madu.
